Ranchi: A woman hailing from the primitive tribe group Paharia was raped under the Jagganathpur Police Station area of this district following which the police managed to arrest the accused.
The arrested has been identified as Anwar Hussain. The woman who hails from Pakur district had come to work in a glass factory in Tupudana and was staying in the house of the culprit as a tenant.
The woman in her complaint said that Hussain forcibly took her on his motorbike in an isolated location where he raped her. A FIR in this connection has been registered by the police.
