Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and JVM(P) supremo Babulal Marandi alongwith his partymen picked up the broom and participated in the cleanliness drive at the Prabhat Tara grounds after the end of his Janadesh Samagam.
Mr Marandi thanked the people of the state and the party workers for ensuring the success of the programme. He said that during the programme since arrangements for food had been made at the venue therefore the area became dirty after which he alongwith his partymen reached on the spot and participated in the cleanliness drive.
He said that however due to the rains the entire process of cleaning could not be completed and assured as soon as the rains stop his party will clean the dirt and garbage at the venue.
