Godda: A team of the town police station has arrested three thieves along with 14 stolen smartphones and a motorcycle.
Godda SP Shailendra Barnwal said that in the last few days incidents of mobile loot and snatching had become rampant in Sabji Mandi, Hatia and other crowded places of the city after which a team was constituted to crack the case.
Acting on the input the police arrested the three thieves who lived in a rented accommodation in the city and executed the theft. The arrested have been identified Pawan Gupta, Sim Gupta and Raj Kumar Mato who hail from different areas of Sahebganj district.
