Before Puja four prominent roads of the capital to get facelift

Ranchi: Four prominent roads of the state capital will get a major facelift before the Durga Puja as the secretary of the Urban Development Department has directed the officials of the JUDCO to speed up work in this regard.

Secretary of the Urban Development Department Ajay Kumar on Tuesday reviewed the progress in implementation of four smart road projects and proposed flyovers in the capital. He directed that before Durga Puja the roads
should be revamped so that people do not face any problem as a sum of Rs 10 crore has been already approved for the project.

The Secretary has directed that within 10 days 100 meter stretch of any smart road should be completed and asked to speed up the work of pipe shifting of smart road number 4.

He also asked to complete the process to take approval for the DPR prepared for the Harmu flyover and said that it has been clearly instructed that while preparing the DPR for the roads it should be ensured that the people do not face any problem and even if necessary then amendment should be made in the DPR.
