Garhwa: A man was beaten to death over suspicion of practicing witchcraft at Bulka village under Ramna Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Koyil Bhuiyan (55). Police said that the man had gone to someone’s house and on his way back he was attacked by men who suspected him of practicing witchcraft.
A severely injured Bhuiyaan was rushed to the Sadar Hospital where he died. Later the police sent his body for postmortem. Further probe was on.
