
Ranchi: The condition of jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav currently undergoing treatment at the paying ward of the RIMS here has improved with his kidney performing at the level of 60 percent.
Last week due to infection his condition had declined and during the weekly examination and it was found that his kidney was functioning at only 37 percent.
Dr DK Jha who is looking after the health condition of Mr Yadav said that the kidney functioning of Mr Yadav was between 37 to 50 percent after which many off his followers had expressed their desire to donate their Kidneys however when the kidney function is just around 15 percent then only a call on its transplant is taken however currently his kidney was in a better condition.
Dr Jha said that for the last few days he was suffering from backache and keeping into account the condition of his kidney was just been given Paracetamol apart from that he was suggested to take massage and now his condition has improved.
As part of the jail manual since it was Saturday three people were allowed to meet Mr Yadav among whom two were businessman Sujit Singh and Mukesh Patel of Patna apart from them Pirpainti MLA Ram Vilas Paswan also met Mr Yadav.
Talking to the press he said that discussion was held with Mr Yadav over the politics in Bihar and said that his party supremo has directed to give tickets to party workers in the elections and said that all should be brought together and people those who have parted their way from the party organisation should be urged to come back.
On Saturday Mr Yadav had one of his favourite dishes Dahi Chura to eat.
