All round development of tribal children priority for state government: Arjun Munda

Ranchi: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda said that from the venue of Prabhat Tara grounds Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched many new schemes for the country.

Speaking in a function during which Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Pradhanmantri Kissan Mandhan Yojana and other schemes and inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Vidhan Sabha here he said that the Prime Minister had launched the Ayushman Bharat Scheme from the same venue and now the people hailing from all sections of the society are taking its advantage.

He said that Ayushman Bharat was such a scheme that talks over it were taking place across the world. He said that post the establishment of the Eklavya Model schools large scale changes have been witnessed in the tribal areas. He said that in the next three years the government will open 462 new schools and in Jharkhand 69 new schools will be opened in 13 districts.

He said that these schools will be functioning on the likes of Navodaya schools where apart from quality education focus will also be on sports and cultural activities. Mr Munda said that scholarship amount to the tribal students is being directly sent in their accounts through DBT and moreover, they will not have to face more troubles for higher education as the central government was providing them with scholarships.

Mr Munda said that by scrapping Article 370 and 35 A the Prime Minister has brought the country together. He said that people of Leh and Ladakh are very happy with this decision and now from Kashmir to Kanyakumari India is one.
