Daltonganj: Police has arrested a couple of ultras belonging to the Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) from Mohammadganj Police Station area of this district.
The arrested have been identified as Dilip Chowdhary and Parvez Ansari who have served prison terms on the past as well. Hussainabad SDPO Vijay Kumar said from the arrested a country made pistol, pamphlets of the outfit and mobile phones.
He said that police had received tip off that a group of TPC ultras had gathered in Kashi Soto Dam area after which police conducted raids and arrested the duo. He said both of them had served prison term on previous occasions in connection with cases related to abduction and loot.
