More than one a half dozen BJP MLAs to loose their tickets post internal survey

Ranchi: As part of achieving its target of 65 plus seats in the state the BJP is working on many areas simultaneously and is weighing all possible options to buck the anti-incumbency and return to power with greater majority.

The party is also going through the performance of its MLAs and surveys for their work has been also done. Sources said that a total of three surveys have been done including one by the BJP another by RSS and third by an Independent agency on the directions of incharge for Vidhan Sabha polls in Jharkhand Om Prakash Mathur. Realizing the stakes involved in the state BJP has named Mathur one of the key strategists of the BJP to oversee the elections in the state.

Bihar Minister Nand Kishore Yadav is the co-in charge for these polls. According to the survey reports at least more than one a half dozen MLAs of the BJP are set to lose the tickets and in their places, new faces can be fielded. According to the report, most of the MLAs who switched over to the BJP from the JVM are likely to get the axe.

The reasons being cited as since the case of anti-defection was on in the court, working culture of the MLAs, their coordination with the party organisation after joining the BJP, the popularity of the MLA, tie between AJSU and BJP and probability of opposition MLAs joining the BJP will all be taken into account.
