
Ranchi: Politicians in the state have offered their condolences following the demise of former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra who passed away in the national capital today following a prolonged illness.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das took to twitter to express his grief over the passing away of the leader and offered his deep condolences. The Chief Minister also prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give courage to the family to overcome the pain of his passing away.
On the other hand, former Chief Minister and JMM supremo Shibu Soren too offered his tributes to the leader. He said that on three occasions Mr Mishra served as the Chief Minister of Bihar and had a great impact on the politics of the state. He prayed to the god to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family to overcome the loss.
Leader of the opposition Hemant Soren has also offered his tributes to Mr Mishra who had great knowledge about the politics in Bihar. Senior Congress leader Furkaan Ansari said that he was saddened by the death of Mr Mishra who was his political guru.
