Mission 65 plus: BJP to hold more than 1500 public meetings

Ranchi: as part of its mission 65 plus the BJP has decided to hold more than 1500 public meetings in the state in which leaders of national and state-level would be camping in the various districts.

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state core committee of the BJP which was held at the residence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

Briefing about what transpired in the meeting state BJP President Laxman Giluwa said that in the meeting discussion was held over the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections during in which co incharge for the Assembly polls in the state and Road construction Minister of Bihar Nandkishore Yadav also participated.

In the meeting, it was agreed that to achieve the target of 65 plus seats different types of programs would be organised across the state.

He said that large scale public meetings would be held in the state capital while in all the districts and assembly areas and even in the mandals such meetings would be organised. He said that apart from the party separate meetings of its various morchas would also be organised in the state.

Mr Giluwa said as part of the campaign apart from the national level leaders state and district level leaders would also be camping in the districts as the party has targeted to reach all the villages and the booths and said that before the elections all these programs would be conducted and said that many other events are also in the pipeline which would be announced soon.

To a query, he said that dates of all these programs have not been decided however the scheduled would be finalized after August 15.

He said that as per the information which has been received from across the state till August 11 the party has made 17 lakh new members in which 2 lakh have opted for online membership while 15 lakh offline members have been made.
