Ranchi: Three criminals have been arrested by the Chanho police for looting trucks on the Khelari- Bijupara road in this district.
The arrested have been identified as Mehtab Ansari Mahfooz Ansari and Kalam Ansari.
Police said that the trio had on Monday night forcibly stopped a truck at Chama picket and had looted about Rs 4000 from the driver and cleaner of the truck after which the victims informed the police which immediately rushed to the spot and chased them and was successful in arresting them.
Later the money which was looted from the driver was also recovered from them and they were on Tuesday forwarded to jail.
