Ranchi: Spontaneous spells of showers throughout the day has badly hit the normal life in the state as almost all the districts since yesterday morning has been receiving showers at frequent interval.
According to the local weather department for the next two days, the weather is likely to remain same in the state however the rainfall has brought Smiles on the faces of the farmers as it has helped to speed up the sowing of paddy. On the other hand in many urban areas of the state including the state capital, there was a problem of waterlogging.
The weather department said that in the last 24 hours monsoon was active in the state and almost all the district received like to medium range of rainfall while in the North Eastern Jharkhand at one or two places heavy rainfall was recorded.
The maximum rainfall was recorded at Barki Sarai at 74.4 mm while the minimum temperature was recorded at Ranchi at 23.6 degree Celsius while Bokaro was the hottest with 35.5 degree Celsius.
On Wednesday also many districts including Ranchi Ramgarh Hazaribag Bokaro Chatra Latehar experienced light to medium range of rainfall while for August 15 the weather department has predicted moderate to slide rainfall all in in Northern districts of the state.
