Dumka: Two hardcore criminals who were wanted in various incidents of loot and snatching have been arrested by the Dumka district.
Addressing a press conference here Dumka SP Y S Ramesh said that on July 31 at Ghansipur Hatia under Muffasil Police Station area an employee of a microfinance company was looted by the criminals.
Apart from the cash of Rs 53,580 in cash, motorcycles and other items were looted after which the victim Samsher Aalam had registered a complaint at the police station after which a police team which was formed arrested the main accused along with his associate.
The arrested who were arrested earlier were identified as Rizwan Ansari alias Rajesh Ansari and Maqbool Ansari while two more accused in the case Samim Ansari alias Kallu Miyan and Junaid Ansari alias Jitu Miyan have been arrested.
He said that from the arrested Rs 12,000 in cash, a tab, documents and motorcycle have been recovered. The arrested have confessed to their role in various incidents of loot and snatching in Muffasil, Massanjore, Jama and Kathikund police station areas.
