
Ranchi: The impact of resignation of Dr Ajay Kumar is being also witnessed in the district units of the party which at present seems to be divided into many camps however most of them have said that since it was an internal issue of the party so things would be sorted out as high command was keeping an eye on the situation.
Lohardaga MLA Sukhdeo Bhagat said that he was not in favour of any leader but was with the party. He said that Dr Ajay is a capable man who worked with dedication for the party and his resignation was unfortunate.
On the other hand, district unit Chief said that matter was of state-level and high command will see it. Palamu district chief Jaishankar Pathak alias Bittu Pathak said that high command was keeping an eye on all the issues and before the assembly polls a strong leadership will be witnessed in the state. Meanwhile, AICC member Chandrashekhar Shukla has denied any rift in the party organisation.
Latehar Congress chief said that party was united and pointed there can be a difference of opinion but in the interest of the party all will stand together while Chatra unit Chief Pramod Kumar Dubey said that since Dr Ajay had left police service and joined politics he should be respected for that. On the other hand, former president Dharmendra Sahu said that Dr Ajay should have resigned earlier as though he was a good administrator running the party was not in his capabilities. Simdega Congress chief Anup Kesri said that division in ranks before polls was not good.
Things are also not good in Hazaribagh district unit of the party as 10 days ago chief Dev Kumar Raj sacked 6 old workers while on the next day chairman of the disciplinary committee of the party Tilakdhari Singh held a press
conference and slammed the move. On the other hand, a big face of the area and former mayor Anand Deo is also going to join BJP on August 12.
