
Ranchi: Chief Secretary DK Tiwari has directed the DCs to update the list of beneficiaries to be covered under the Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana and asked them to work day and night to ensure that maximum beneficiaries are covered under the scheme.
Chairing a high-level review meeting over the scheme Mr Tiwari issued other instructions to the officials. The DCs informed that in many areas work was on 24 hours in shifts.
The Chief Secretary said farmers who will be covered under the scheme for per acre of land a sum of Rs 5,000 will go directly into their bank accounts and farmers whose land will be less than one acre they will also get Rs 5,000 and under this scheme, a maximum payment of Rs 25,000 will be made.
Under Pradhanmantri Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana a sum of Rs 6,000 is also being sent directly in the accounts of the farmers which means farmers in the state will atleast get Rs 11,000 or a maximum of Rs 31,000 in their accounts.
Highlighting the importance of the scheme Mr Tiwari said that execution will also determine the evaluation of the performance of the DCs. Over the problems being faced in online updating of data he directed the IT department that on four separate servers the districts should be divided so that the work of data entry can be completed on time.
