Dumka: A kanwariya lost his life while 10 others were injured following a collision between a car and tempo which took place under Jarmundi Police Station area of this district on the Deoghar-Dumka road.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Chowdhary (50). All the kanwariyas hailed from Harpur and Golohiya village under Parenda Police Station area of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Among the injured condition of 7 kanwariyas was stated to be critical.
A total of 13 kanwariys were travelling in the tempo which they had hired from Deoghar to offer obeisance at Baba Basukinath Dham. However on their way to the temple near Dudhani Mode the vehicle got hit by a car.
