Daltonganj: A woman lost her life while two others were injured following a collision between a motorcycle and a bus which took place under the Town Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Pramila Devi, the woman with her sister and her son was going to get her Aadhar card made when on the by-pass road the bike diver lost his control and suddenly it was also hit by a school bus from behind in which the woman died and two others were injured.
Post the incident locals got agitated and blocked the traffic movement on the road for about four hours. The agitation was called off after the intervention of the local police which assured action against the guilty.
On the other hand, former cabinet minister KN Tripathi met the family members of the deceased and demanded for the immediate release of compensation.
