Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board on Monday organised a hand holding cum interaction session at the Palash auditorium here during which chairman JSPCB AK Rastogi and member secretary Rajeev Lochan Bakshi were present.
During the programme, three sessions were held on e-waste management, sensitization on plastic waste management rules and on ETP/CETP and STP. The officials of the pollution board who were present throughout the interaction programme also addressed the various queries that were raised and resolved.
Mr Rastogi emphasized on self-monitoring within industries for complying with the prescribed standards while Mr Bakshi stressed on the installation of flow meter devices and web cameras in all units to attend zero liquid discharge.
The interaction programme was attended by representatives of Samsung, Vivo, plastic manufacturers, hotels and allied industries personals and others.
