CM offers prayers at Basukinath Dham, reviews preparations for Shravani Mela

Dumka: Chief Minister Raghubar Das reached Basukinath Dham here where he offered his obeisance and later also reviewed the preparations for the month-long Shravani Mela.

DDC Varun Ranjan apprised the Chief Minister regarding the facilities to be provided to the kanwariyas during the Shravani Mela. Mr Das said that for the entire duration the kanwariyas should be provided similar facilities. He said that best qualities of resting place, drinking water, health and toilet should be provided to the kanwariyas so that when they return home they are able to take away fond memories.

Mr Das said that without any trouble the kanwariyas should be able to darshan and perform the rituals. He said that arrangements should be such that after returning back to their homes the devotees should talk about the facilities and the behaviour of the people who have been deployed on various duties during the Mela.
