Deoghar: The district police sought an arrest warrant against JVM(P) MLA Pradeep Yadav in a sexual harassment case however the court kept its order reserved on granting the arrest warrant.
The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Garima Singh has kept the order reserved on issuing of the arrest warrant. Earlier on June 18 the court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of the MLA in the case. A former women spokesperson of the party had accused the MLA of sexually harassing her in a city hotel on the night of April 20.
Later an FIR in this regard was registered at the cyber police station on May 2. On June 13 Pradeep Yadav had recorded his statement in the case before SDPO Vikas Chandra Srivastav and Investigating officer of the case Sangeeta Kumari.
