Deoghar Mayor Reviews Civic Needs in Jasidih’s Ward 2, Promises Focus on Basic Services

Deoghar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut on Sunday inspected Ward 2 in Jasidih, including Kajaria Colony, to assess the condition of basic civic infrastructure and identify areas requiring immediate attention.

During the visit, issues related to roads, drainage, street lighting and sanitation were discussed. The Mayor said improving these essential services would be taken up on priority, with an emphasis on addressing recurring problems through long-term solutions rather than temporary measures.

Raut also held discussions with Deputy Mayor Teep Chaterjee, Ward 1 councillor Sandeep Vishwakarma and local councillor representative Kanhaiya regarding development requirements in the area and the proposed course of action.

The inspection provided an opportunity to assess local issues directly and understand residents’ requirements at the ground level. Raut said strengthening civic amenities and ensuring balanced development across the municipal area would remain a priority.

The Mayor indicated that the concerns identified during the inspection would be considered while planning and implementing upcoming civic works in the ward.
