Dudheshwaridham Durga Puja Committee Reconstituted in Gumla

The Dudheshwaridham Durga Puja Committee was reconstituted during a meeting held on Sunday evening at Maa Dudheshwari Swayambhu Shambhu Dham near Soso Mor in Gumla.

The meeting, chaired by Mrityunjay Kumar, reviewed the income and expenditure accounts of last year’s Durga Puja celebrations. Following the presentation of the accounts, the existing committee was dissolved and a new committee was unanimously formed to oversee this year’s Durga Puja celebrations.

Dr Rajkumar Singh was appointed president, while Mrityunjay Kumar was named vice-president. Rakesh Singh will serve as secretary, Kartik Munda as joint secretary, Anil Mishra as treasurer and Ankit Yadav as joint treasurer.

Bhola Das was selected as the chief priest. Separate teams were also constituted to oversee different aspects of the celebrations.

The pandal management team includes Yashraj Singh, Santosh Nayak, Rahul Singh, Dayanand Prasad, Uttam Sahu and Manish Kachhap. The security team comprises Dharmu Gop, Praveen Gop, Gaurav Kumar Singh and Ankit Kumar Singh.

Om Das, Puja Gop, Raj Gop, Babi Yadav, Lav Kumar Singh and Aditya Kumar have been assigned responsibility for idol-related arrangements, while Parmeshwar Prajapati and Paras Gupta will oversee prasad distribution.

Abhishek Tanti and Aman Soni have been entrusted with electrical arrangements. Harsh Kumar Singh and Hemant Kumar Das will serve as puja coordinators.

Advocate Rakesh Kumar Verma, Murli Manohar Prasad and Amar Kumar Sinha have been appointed legal advisers.

The committee’s patron group includes Shibu Gop, Balram Gop, Rajkishore Singh, Madhusudan Yadav, Alok Kumar Soni, Anand Kishore Panda, Naveen Singh, Uday Mishra, Hariom Sahu, Shyamsundar Yadav, Rakesh Gupta, Mahavir Mahto, Binod Yadav and Om Prakash Gupta.

Rajkishore Gop, Munna Singh, Devkumar Prajapati, Rajkumar Prajapati, Bando Gop, Brajesh Kumar, Kali Singh, Kuldeep Gop, Mahesh Gop, Timir Khalkho, Uday Mahto, Amarnath Pradhan, Abhishek Sharma, Rishabh Soni, Kaleshwar Gop, Parmeshwar Das and Virendra Prajapati have been included as executive committee members.

The newly constituted committee decided to organise this year’s Durga Puja on a grand scale and ensure coordinated arrangements for religious rituals, security, pandal management and other activities throughout the festival.
