Hemant Soren Celebrates Raksha Bandhan as Sisters Tie Rakhi and Bless Him

Raksha Bandhan brought a warm family moment for Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren as his sisters tied rakhi on his wrist and wished him a healthy, happy and long life.

On the occasion, Soren’s elder sister Anjani Soren tied the traditional thread on his wrist and offered her blessings and good wishes. His cousins also joined the celebration, tying rakhi and praying for his well-being and long life.

Soren accepted the blessings of his elder sister with affection and extended his love, blessings and best wishes to his younger sisters. His mother Rupi Soren and other family members were also present during the celebration.

The Chief Minister also extended his greetings to the people of Jharkhand on Shravan Purnima and Raksha Bandhan. He wished everyone happiness, prosperity, progress and a peaceful life.

The festival also brought a special connection from Dumka to Ranchi. Mati Soren, a resident of Sitasal village in Shikaripara block of Dumka district, travelled to Ranchi to tie rakhi to the Chief Minister.

Soren blessed Mati Soren and wished her on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. According to the information shared on the occasion, Mati Soren has been visiting the Chief Minister and tying rakhi to him during the festival for several years.

The celebrations reflected the personal and emotional side of Raksha Bandhan, with the traditional ritual of tying the rakhi serving as a reminder of the enduring bond of affection, care and goodwill between brothers and sisters.
