Two Grizzly School Students Selected for Jharkhand State Football Team Camp

Grizzly Vidyalaya, located at Tilaiya Dam, has received a major sporting achievement with two of its talented students, Apsara and Supriya Ranjan, being selected for the Jharkhand State Football Team camp.

The two young players will participate in the state-level camp at Khelgaon in Ranchi from September 10. Their selection is being seen as a significant achievement for the school and a recognition of their hard work, discipline and commitment to football.

Both players have earned their place in the state camp through regular practice and consistent performances. Their achievement also reflects the emphasis being placed by the school on sports alongside academics and the overall development of students.

Football coach Asha Kumari has played an important role in their progress. A former national-level player, Kumari has provided the two students with technical training, tactical guidance and regular encouragement, helping them strengthen their skills and prepare for higher-level competitions.

School management congratulates players

Grizzly Vidyalaya CEO Prakash Gupta and Principal Anjana Kumari congratulated both players on their selection and said the achievement was a matter of pride for the entire school community.

They said participation in sports helps students develop confidence, leadership qualities, team spirit and discipline, apart from improving their physical fitness. They expressed confidence that Apsara and Supriya would perform strongly at the Ranchi camp and bring further recognition to the school and Jharkhand.

School coordinator Vijay Kumar Singh, Jitendra Chaudhary, B.D. Naskar, Anurag Kumar Singh, Shilpi Bhadani, Banani Niyogi and Preeti Jagannani, along with Student Services Cell coordinator Sudhanshu Kumar and Sports Coordinator Pritam Hari, also congratulated the two players, their parents and coach Asha Kumari.

The entire teaching and non-teaching staff extended their best wishes to the players for the state-level camp beginning September 10.

The school expressed hope that the two footballers will make the most of the opportunity, continue to improve their game and eventually earn the chance to represent Jharkhand at higher levels. Their selection also provides encouragement to other students at the school who aspire to pursue football and competitive sports.
