Rani Pandey Appointed Technical Official for Khelo Jharkhand Judo Championship

Judo coach Rani Pandey and physical education teacher Avinash Kumar have been appointed as technical officials for the Khelo Jharkhand Judo Championship being held at the Khelgaon Sports Complex in Ranchi.

The Khelo Jharkhand competition is being organised by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) under the aegis of the School Education and Literacy Department of the Jharkhand government. The judo competition will continue in Ranchi till August 14.

Rani Pandey, a judo coach at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Avinash Kumar, a physical education teacher at Grizzly Public School, have been entrusted with technical responsibilities during the championship. Their appointment reflects their experience and contribution to the promotion of judo in the state.

Rani Pandey has also received another significant responsibility earlier this year. She was appointed as the coach of the Jharkhand government’s judo team for the team’s participation in Manipur.

Her appointment as a technical official at a major state-level competition further highlights her growing role in judo development and competition management in Jharkhand.

Following the appointments, office-bearers of the Jharkhand Judo Association, including president Gopal Tripathi, general secretary Prashant Tiwari, treasurer Anshuman Rai, joint secretaries Upendra Kumar and Abhishek Singh, along with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya principal Ashwini Amitabh, office superintendent Pradeep Kumar, Kendriya Vidyalaya principal Dharmendra Kumar and district secretary Prince Mishra, congratulated Rani Pandey and Avinash Kumar.

The officials expressed confidence that their expertise would contribute to the smooth and fair conduct of the Khelo Jharkhand judo competition and encourage young players to take up the sport seriously.
