Patients and attendants at Deoghar Sadar Hospital to get clean and chilled drinking water round the clock

Deoghar: Shreel Foundation, which has been running a food service centre for needy patients and their attendants at Deoghar Sadar Hospital for the past six years, has received an RO purifier water cooler from the State Bank of India. The foundation serves meals daily to nearly 300 needy patients and their family members. Impressed by the organisation’s continuous social service, SBI extended support by providing the water cooler facility.
With this initiative, patients’ attendants, people coming from distant areas and other needy visitors at the hospital campus will now have access to clean and chilled drinking water 24 hours a day. The facility is expected to provide major relief during the summer season.Shreel Foundation secretary Rakesh Verma expressed gratitude to the State Bank of India for the support. He said providing safe drinking water along with food is an important part of the organisation’s service efforts and described the initiative as a strong example of social responsibility and humanitarian concern.The food service centre has been operating continuously for the last six years with support from society and well-wishers. The foundation said such cooperation strengthens its public welfare activities and appealed to citizens and organisations to come forward and support humanitarian initiatives so that help can reach more needy people.
