New SDPOs Appointed in Deoghar and Sarath, Several Officers Transferred

Deoghar,The Jharkhand Government has carried out a major reshuffle in the police administration following the order of the Governor of Jharkhand. A notification regarding the transfers and new postings was issued by Under Secretary Ajit Kumar Singh. Several police officers have been assigned new responsibilities in Deoghar and other districts.According to the notification, Kuldeep Kumar has been transferred from the Special Branch, Jharkhand and appointed as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Deoghar. Similarly, Mujibur Rahman has been shifted from the Special Branch and posted as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Sarath.
Chandrashekhar, who was serving as a probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police, has been given the charge of Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Deoghar.Ikad Dungdung has been transferred from the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Dumka and posted to Jharkhand Armed Police-5, Deoghar. Naushad Alam, who was serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) in Dhanbad, has also been transferred to Jharkhand Armed Police-5, Deoghar.
Ashok Kumar Ram has been shifted from Bero and posted to Jharkhand Armed Police-5, Deoghar. Meanwhile, Kailash Prasad Mahto, a probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police currently serving in IRB-1, Jamtara, has been deputed to Deoghar district for cybercrime prevention work.
The administrative reshuffle is being considered significant for strengthening law and order as well as improving cybercrime control mechanisms in Deoghar district.
