Tight Preparations for Excise Constable Exam, DC Issues Clear Instructions

Deoghar: A briefing session was held at Shilpgram Auditorium regarding the smooth conduct of the Excise Constable Recruitment Examination scheduled on April 12. The meeting was chaired by DC Naman Priyesh Lakra. Magistrates, police officials and centre superintendents deployed for the exam were given detailed instructions.The DC made it clear that there will be no compromise on the sanctity of the examination. Ensuring a transparent, malpractice-free and peaceful environment at all centres remains the top priority. Strict action will be taken against any official or individual found negligent or involved in irregularities.
He directed that entry of electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smart watches and Bluetooth devices will be completely prohibited at all centres. Multi-level frisking and biometric verification of candidates will be mandatory. Flying squads, zonal and sector magistrates will continuously monitor the centres to prevent any disruption.

CCTV cameras have been installed in all rooms and corridors of the examination centres for live monitoring. Modern technologies like jammers and biometric attendance will also be used to maintain discipline. Special armed escort teams have been deployed to ensure safe transportation of question papers and answer sheets from the treasury to the centres.

Strict measures have also been taken to control crowd outside the examination centres. Quick Response Teams have been instructed to remain active to prevent unnecessary gathering.At the end of the briefing, the DC directed all officials to work in coordination and remain on duty until the successful completion of the examination. The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Hira Kumar, along with district-level officials, magistrates, patrolling magistrates, centre superintendents and police personnel.
