Air Force outreach to open new career pathways for youth, awareness drive to expand

Deoghar. A key step was taken on Monday to expand the Indian Air Force’s awareness campaign aimed at informing youth about career opportunities. A three-member team from Airmen Selection Centre, Bihta met DC Naman Priyesh Lakra at the Collectorate office to discuss widening the reach of outreach programs across the district.

During the meeting, the DC appreciated the initiative and emphasized the need to focus on youth in rural and remote areas. He noted that villages have abundant talent, but many young people fall behind due to lack of proper guidance and information.

The Air Force team agreed with the suggestions and proposed organizing special awareness camps in far-flung areas. It was also decided to use online platforms to reach a larger number of youths and ensure wider participation.

The DC assured full support from the district administration to make the programs successful so that more young people are encouraged to pursue careers in the Air Force. The meeting was attended by Commanding Officer of the Airmen Selection Centre Arvind Singh Rawat, other Air Force officials and district-level officers.
