
Deoghar: The 18th Jharkhand State Youth and Junior Boxing Championship concluded at Guru Nanak School in Ranchi, where boxers from Deoghar delivered an impressive performance. Competing for the first time, Manya Singh won a silver medal and brought pride to the district with her remarkable achievement.
Her success has created a wave of happiness in Deoghar. In a short span, she reached this level through consistent training and hard work. Her performance shows that with proper guidance and dedication, new talents can succeed at big platforms.
On this achievement, the Deoghar District Olympic Association honored Manya Singh and her coach Sunil Kumar. Association president Dr. Sunil Khaware said that Manya trains at Gold Gym in Deoghar under coach Sunil Kumar Rao, who is himself a former national-level player. Under his guidance, she learned boxing techniques and worked hard, which resulted in her winning a medal in her very first competition.He added that players from Deoghar are performing well in various sports and will continue to make their mark at state and national levels. He also said that other winning players and their coaches will be honored by the association to boost their morale.
On this occasion, association treasurer Naveen Sharma, Gold Gym proprietor Vivek Kumar, Lal Mani, Prakash Bhardwaj, Babita Mishra, Manoj Pandey, and Aman Kumar were present. The enthusiasm among players was clearly visible, and Manya’s success was described as a proud moment for Deoghar.
