
YANTRA 26: Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi successfully organized its flagship techno-cultural robotics fest, YANTRA’26, over two days at its campus (BSNL Ground & Khelgaon). The event brought together students from across India, promoting innovation, technical skills, and competitive spirit in robotics and automation.
The fest featured exciting competitions such as Desert Dash, Robosoccer, Wingfury, and Pathfinder, along with cultural performances, creating a vibrant blend of technology and entertainment. More than 50 teams from reputed institutions across multiple states participated, showcasing creativity and real-world problem-solving abilities.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Director of IIIT Ranchi, Prof. Rajeev Srivastava, whose interaction with participants served as a source of motivation.
Prof. Srivastava appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and participants and said that such platforms are essential for nurturing creativity, practical learning, and problem-solving skills among young engineers. He further stated that IIIT Ranchi is committed to organizing such initiatives and will continue to focus on providing platforms like YANTRA’26 that reflect the innovative spirit and technical excellence of students.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Roshan Singh (Organizing Chair), Dr. Chandra Prakash Singh (Convenor), Dr. Abhinav Kumar, and Dr. Dhiran Kumar Mahato.
