Jamshedpur - In Jamshedpur, where Ram Navami celebrations have reached its peak, the weather on Saturday (March 28) could turn tricky during the immersion procession.
The city is expected to witness cloudy skies, brief spells of rain, and strong winds, especially later in the day.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and have advised all akharas to remain cautious, especially due to the risk of lightning and strong winds,” an official from the Ranchi Meteorological Centre said.
Organisers, too, are preparing for contingencies. “Devotees’ safety is our priority. We are making announcements to avoid standing near electric poles or trees if weather conditions worsen,” said a member of a local akhara committee in Jamshedpur.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35°C, with increased humidity making conditions slightly uncomfortable despite reduced heat.
