Storm alert over festive skies

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand is set for a spell of unstable weather over the next few days, with the Meteorological Department flagging rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across several districts.

A yellow alert has been issued, warning of sudden weather shifts that may affect normal activity as well as ongoing festivities.

From March 27 to 28, skies will remain partly cloudy with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms likely at isolated places. Wind speeds could pick up to 30–50 kmph, raising concerns over safety, particularly in open areas.

While north-western pockets may see relatively milder conditions, most other regions are expected to remain under the impact of this changing weather pattern.
