Bounty raised in Jamshedpur gangster Vikram Sharma murder probe

Jamshedpur: Police have intensified their investigation into the sensational murder of Jamshedpur-based gangster Vikram Sharma in Dehradun, tightening the net around the absconding accused. In a key development, the reward for information leading to the arrest of six suspects has been doubled to  Rs 50,000 each.

The accused include three alleged professional shooters who have been on the run for over a month.
Officials confirmed that all six have been named in an FIR lodged at Kotwali Dalanwala police station. Despite sustained efforts, the police have yet to make a breakthrough, adding to the pressure on the investigating teams.

To accelerate the manhunt, “most wanted” posters carrying photographs, names, and descriptions of the accused have been circulated across prominent locations and on social media platforms, seeking public assistance.

Preliminary findings suggest the murder was a well-planned operation involving hired shooters, indicating a deeper criminal conspiracy.

Multiple teams have been formed and are carrying out raids across several states.

Appealing for public cooperation, police have urged citizens to share any leads via the city control room at 9411112972, assuring complete confidentiality and reward for credible information.

The case continues to generate concern in both Jamshedpur and Dehradun, with authorities expressing confidence of an early breakthrough.
