Dhanbad Court Put on High Alert After Anonymous Bomb Threat Email

Dhanbad: An anonymous email claiming a bomb had been placed at the Dhanbad Civil Court triggered swift security action on Wednesday. Court authorities ordered a full evacuation, and police sealed the premises to carry out detailed checks with bomb disposal units and sniffer dogs.

Although the hours-long search yielded no suspicious objects, officials said enhanced security measures would remain in place. The threat comes amid a pattern of similar emails sent recently to judicial and administrative offices, including the Ranchi Collectorate and the Ranchi civil court.

Investigators have activated the cyber cell to trace IP addresses and assess whether the threats are linked.
