Daltonganj: Police has caught an arms dealer from Pandwa Police Station area of the Palamu district and recovered from his possession couple of country-made pistols and a live cartridge.
Police sources said that a secret tip-off had been received that a youth identified as Anand Kumar Pal was going to sell the pistols in Medninagar a youth was apprehended and upon searching him the arms were recovered.
Police said that it is being probed as to from where the youth had got the arms and whether he had on earlier occasions also indulged in the illegal arms trade.
