Ranchi: The Jharkhand Assembly is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary on November 22 with a grand event attended by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren as chief guests. The programme will be conducted in two sessions.
The first session will be dedicated to honouring achievers across various fields, featuring the Governor’s presentation of the ‘Outstanding Legislator’ award and the Chief Minister’s felicitation of Assembly employees.
The second session will include a cultural evening, with Bollywood singer Roop Kumar Rathod set to perform and renowned comic poet Dinesh Bawra presenting a special entertainment act. The celebration aims to reflect on the Assembly’s 25-year journey while recognising excellence and showcasing Jharkhand’s cultural vibrancy.
