7,414 ITI trainees in Jharkhand receive job offers, over 4,200 join companies

Ranchi: A total of 7,414 trainees from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Jharkhand have received job offers after completing various skill-based courses. Among them, 5,756 were offered full-time positions, 333 part-time roles, and 1,287 apprenticeship opportunities. However, only 4,211 candidates have joined their respective companies so far, including 4,010 men and 201 women.

According to the Labour Department, 2,514 candidates found employment within Jharkhand, while 1,706 secured jobs outside the state in various firms and industries. The category-wise distribution shows that 2 candidates from the general category, 1,599 from BC-I, 382 from BC-II, 426 from SC, and 912 from ST communities received job offers.

The salary structure of the selected candidates varies widely — 528 are earning up to ?10,000 per month, 3,330 between ?10,000 and ?15,000, 2,266 between ?15,000 and ?20,000, and 1,262 more than ?20,000.
Officials said the placement drive reflects the growing demand for technically skilled manpower trained through ITIs, both within Jharkhand and across other states.
