Operation Red Hunt Brings Major Success in Simdega: 104 Warrants Executed in Two Months

Simdega: In a major breakthrough under Operation Red Hunt, Simdega Police have achieved notable success by executing 104 red (permanent) warrants within a span of two months. The intensive campaign, carried out in 11 phases, was implemented across the district with a war-like urgency.

Superintendent of Police Md Arshi informed that during this drive, 51 accused persons were arrested in connection with 73 warrants. Upon verification, it was found that 19 individuals named in 21 warrants had passed away, and their details were accordingly submitted to the court.

The SP further revealed that six wanted individuals voluntarily surrendered before the court due to the mounting pressure created by the operation. Additionally, four warrants were returned to the court as the accused were either already in jail, residing outside the district permanently, or had been granted bail.

Arshi emphasized that Operation Red Hunt has significantly strengthened the law enforcement mechanism in Simdega and represents a decisive step toward curbing criminal activity in the region.
