Tamar: Voting held in four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand on Monday. Voting took place peacefully from 7 am in the Naxal-affected Tamar assembly constituency falling in the Khunti Lok Sabha constituency. Tremendous enthusiasm regarding voting is being seen in the polling booth. Here SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha inspected Naxal affected Jargo booth number 288.
Strict surveillance is being maintained in Naxal affected Lok Sabha constituencies. Web casting facility is available in all polling stations. Where recording is being done inside and outside the polling station. The same is being monitored from the control room.
Special arrangements have been made for disabled voters in polling stations. A wheelchair has been kept for him. A ramp has also been built there. The total number of voters in the Tamar block area is 96,957. Of these, 48,626 are male voters and 48,331 are female voters.
Voting is being held at a total of 137 booths. A total of 15 clusters and 17 sectors have been created in the block area.
