Huge quantity of explosives recovered in Parsudih, Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Police raided the residence of Rajendra Singh, resident of Gol Pahari Basti, Parsudih, Jamshedpur and recovered a huge quantity of explosive material. Apart from this, the police have also recovered other items including firecrackers made for fireworks from the spot.

Rajendra Sathi and one of his artisans have been arrested in this case. The police confiscated the items and took them to the police station. The interrogation of the detained accused is continuing. Police are also conducting raids at other places on the trail of the accused.

According to sources, the police had received secret information that a large quantity of explosive material was present in the area. On information, Trainee DSP Sunny Vardhan along with Parsudih and Sundernagar police station conducted a raid and arrested Rajendra Singh from the spot. 

It is said that Rajendra Singh used to make firecrackers by illegally storing explosive material in densely populated areas. At present the police are investigating the matter.
