RMC issues Mobile No for spraying anti-larva drug

Ranchi: Ranchi Municipal Corporation sprayed insecticide through hand spray as per the roster on Thursday in Ward 26 Harmu Housing Colony, Ward 22 Marwari College, Ward 51 Prem Nagar, Ward 41 Dhurva, Hindpidi, Bardhaman Kapound, Kantatoli, Lowadih, Bariatu.

It was done on a large scale in areas like Darji Mohalla, Doranda, Karbala Chowk etc. After identifying the larvae in the above areas, the larvae were destroyed without any delay. Ranchi Municipal Corporation appeals to all citizens to maintain cleanliness around their homes and not allow any kind of water to freeze. At present, dengue, chikungunya and malaria infections are spreading rapidly in the city. To prevent this, Ranchi Municipal Corporation is doing larvicidal spraying and fogging on a large scale in various wards to destroy the breeding source of mosquitoes.

In view of the increasing outbreak of mosquitoes, as per the orders of the Administrator, by making a beat plan, using a fogging machine, thermal fogging machine, anti-smog gun and hand spray in all the areas, the streets and localities, especially the houses where larvae have been found, are being disinfected rapidly. 

Spraying is being done. Apart from this, people are also being made aware in all the wards by distributing pamphlets to prevent dengue, chikungunya and malaria.
