Governor participated in Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Sainik School

Ranchi: Governor CP Radhakrishnan said that Sainik School Tilaiya has a glorious history and this institution has an important contribution in nation building.

“Established in 1963, this school has been playing an important role in making students responsible citizens since its inception. Many students here have established their indelible mark in military, civil services, engineering, medicine, entrepreneurship, besides sports and film production” said Governor while addressing the “Diamond Jubilee Celebrations” of Sainik School Tilaiya today. 

The Governor said that the school always motivates the students to discharge their duties and responsibilities. They are not only taught  to achieve excellence in personal life but are also given the message of being active in contributing to the national interest.

It is commendable that this school inspires students to have discipline, courage and commitment to serve the nation. These values are not only limited to the school campus, but are also reflected in the lives of the previous students, who have made significant contributions to the welfare of the society. 

The Governor told the  students that special attention is given to discipline in this school. The values you adopt and knowledge you acquire here will provide direction to your future. Can face any challenge and overcome adverse situations. He said that you are fortunate that as a student you have got the privilege to be a part of this prestigious institute. Your parents and society have a lot of expectations from you. You set an exemplary example in the society with your knowledge, character and behavior.

He expressed hope that this institute will continue to inspire future generations. He heartily congratulated the entire Sainik School Tilaiya family on completing Diamond Jubilee and told the teachers and staff that your contribution in nationbuilding is invaluable.
