JIASOWA to organise Blood Donation Camp on 15th September

The Jharkhand IAS Officers' Wives Association (JIASOWA) will organise a blood donation camp at the IAS Club in Ranchi to encourage people to contribute to saving lives through voluntary blood donation.

JIASOWA Secretary Mrs Richa Sanchita said the camp will be held from 10 a.m. She appealed to people to participate in large numbers and donate blood.

Highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation, Sanchita said donating blood not only helps patients in need but also contributes to maintaining an adequate supply at hospitals and blood banks. She described blood donation as a "Mahadan" and urged eligible people to come forward for the cause.

She also spoke about the health benefits associated with regular blood donation, including the body's natural process of producing new blood cells after a donation.

"On one hand, blood donation benefits the donor, while on the other, the donated blood can help save someone's life," she said.

The initiative is aimed at creating greater awareness about voluntary blood donation and encouraging more people to make it a regular social responsibility.

JIASOWA urged eligible and medically fit donors to participate in the camp and help ensure that patients requiring blood during emergencies, surgeries and medical treatment can receive timely support.
