Governor and CM pay tributes on BabaSahab Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s Jayanti

Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday their tributes to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his Jayanti. In a function held at Ambedkar Chowk near the Jharkhand High Court, the dignitaries garlanded the statue of Baba Saheb and paid their tributes.

Speaking on the occasion the Governor said we all are against untouchability there cannot be any act that can be called sin as by birth we are all equal. The Governor said that Baba Sahab is the greatest son of the soil.

Today is a great day as the Union Government has announced Ambedkar Jayanti as a holiday. He said that we all are proud of Ambedkar Ji who despite from humble background he has given us the Constitution. The Constitution is a holy book he said adding that for his every contribution will be remembered forever.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that today is a very fortunate day dedicated to Baba Sahab who needs no introduction inside or outside the country.

The Chief Minister said that Baba Sahab thought for all the sections of the society and religion and gave such a constitution where every section and society whether rich or poor farmers and labourers get respect which is a matter of pride and his personality is a matter of pride for everyone.
