Under National Safety Week-2023, GAIL (India) Limited, Ranchi CGD organized a Public Awareness Program on PNG safety and its benefits under the guidance of Sh. S. Angamuthu, General Manager (CGD) for the Housewives of SAIL and MECON at SAIL City. Housewives of SAIL City actively participated in the CGD Safety Awareness Program.
The main objective of the CGD Safety Awareness Program was to make Housewives aware of the Safety precautions to be taken while using PNG. Sh. Saurav Anand, Sr. Manager (Fire and Safety) of GAIL(India) Limited, Ranchi informed the housewives present in the program about the safe use of PNG and its benefits.
Mr. Anand also gave information about the types of fire and various fire extinguishers used for extinguishing different classes of fire. He also gave various safety tips to safeguard society in case of emergency. He also gave information about the various safety standards to be used during the use of PNG.
Live fire fighting demonstration was also given to Housewives & Housewives actively participated in extinguishing the fire using extinguishers & other fire fighting equipment. At the end of the program, Housewives were suitably awarded by GAIL(India) Limited, Ranchi team.
