CBI arrests BCCL cashier in Dhanbad

Dhanbad: The economic offense wing of the CBI on Saturday arrested the cashier of BCCL Sultanpur colliery while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 10000. The arrested has been identified as Praveen Kumar Rai. CBI SP Nagendra Prasad has confirmed the arrest.

A complaint against him was launched by a retired BCCL employee Tulsi Singh who had a list that the man was demanding a bribe for the last two months for releasing his retirement benefits. After the verification of the complaint, the CBI later set a trap and arrested
the man from the Sultanpur colliery while he was accepting the bribe
