PIB Ranchi to Organize five days multimedia picture exhibition at Convocation Pavilion of Ranchi University from Aug 28

Ranchi: As part of the ongoing Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav which is being celebrated across the country the Ranchi unit of the Press Information Bureau is going to organise a five-day multimedia photo exhibition from August 28 at the Dikshant Mandap of the Ranchi University.

Addressing a press conference Additional Director General, PIB-CBC Ranchi Akhil Kumar Mishra gave detailed information regarding the organization of the five-day multimedia photo exhibition. The inauguration of this multimedia exhibition will be done by Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda on Sunday.

The ADG requested all the public and media colleagues to come to see this exhibition with the family so that the children get interesting information related to the freedom movement. Many cultural programs will also be organized on this occasion which can be enjoyed with the family he said. The contribution of national and local freedom fighters to freedom, service to the poor and downtrodden, women’s power, farmers’ welfare, health through AYUSH and yoga, national education policy, youth power, etc will be shown through this exhibition.

In the event many prominent personalities and public representatives of the city will also be present he said. The ADG said that important information will be broadcast continuously through the LED walls and Plasma TV installed in the
multimedia exhibition. Information about Ayush and Yoga will also be given through audiovisuals. A fun digital learning experience through online mobile games has been developed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in association with Zynga India which will be showcased in this exhibition.

Azadi Quest Online is an entertaining and educative series of mobile games that aims to provide a platform to the players to learn more about the journey of India’s independence and the valor of Indian freedom fighters through fun gameplay. During the exhibition, stalls related to Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) are also being set up by the Department of AYUSH, Ranchi.

On this occasion, corona kits and essential medicines will also be distributed by the department. On the occasion, information related to public utility schemes will be given through the stalls of the Post Office, Bank, and LIC.
