DC chairs District level compassionate committee meeting

Ranchi: A meeting of the District Level Compassionate Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha.

In the meeting, the representations of the general, watchmen and dependents of LWE violence were reviewed in detail by the committee. A total of 29 representations were reviewed by the committee.

There were three representations of LWE violence, two of chowkidar and 24 of the general category. After deliberating on the general representations, the committee accepted 21 representations out of 24, while the remaining three representations were directed to be guided by the department.

While deliberating on three cases related to LWE violence, the committee approved two while in one case the direction was given to the department. After deliberation, one of the two cases related to Chowkidar was approved by the committee.

Additional Collector Ranchi, District Establishment Deputy Collector, Deputy Collector General Branch, Executive Engineer Building Construction Department, Ranchi and officers/ representatives of the concerned department were present in the meeting.
